Sample Codicil

If you already have a will and you don’t need to make any other changes, you can add a simple statement to the end of your will, called a codicil. A codicil allows you to add instructions to your will without going through the time and expense of creating an entire new document. Click below for an example of a codicil.

This example codicil form is for educational purposes only, and does not constitute legal advice. It is recommended that you consult a qualified attorney, licensed in your state, to ensure that this form meets all legal requirements of your state.
